A phone line is one channel, and it fails in predictable ways: unknown numbers go unanswered, voicemail eats attempts, and international dialling turns into cost and time-zone management.

Alex adds video for the roles you need to see, and WhatsApp for everywhere the phone underperforms. WhatsApp does both calls and messages, runs on wifi rather than billable minutes, and is the default way much of the world is reached. SMS carries invitations, reminders and scheduling. Alex also detects time zone from area code and respects blackout windows, so calls land at a reasonable hour.

Where the results have to land
